Solar Circuit replacement
Faulty cables, connectors, fuses or junction boxes can cut generation or create a fire risk. Kamaxi Electricals tests your solar circuits, finds the fault and replaces damaged parts so your plant runs safely again.
Since 2011 we have handled electrical troubleshooting and repair for solar plants and industries.
We check string voltages and currents, insulation resistance and earthing, inspect MC4 connectors and junction boxes for heating marks, and replace damaged items with matching, rated components. After repair we test the circuit and confirm the generation is back to normal.
Common faults we repair:
- Melted or loose MC4 connectors and damaged DC cables
- Blown fuses, faulty SPDs and isolators in ACDB/DCDB
- Earth faults and insulation problems in strings
How do I know a solar circuit has a fault?
Common signs are lower generation than usual, an inverter error or earth-fault alarm, or one string showing zero current in the monitoring app.
Why do MC4 connectors melt?
Usually because of poor crimping, mixing different connector brands or loose mating, which raises contact resistance and heat.
Can you repair plants installed by another company?
Yes. We inspect and repair plants regardless of who installed them, and suggest improvements where the original work is unsafe.
Is it safe to work on solar circuits during the day?
Solar strings stay live whenever there is light. Only trained technicians should work on them, with the inverter and isolators switched off and proper safety tools.
