What is included in a rooftop solar kit?
Panels, inverter, solar DC cable, AC cable, MC4 connectors, ACDB and DCDB, earthing kit, lightning arrester, net and generation meters as per DISCOM, cable accessories and, if you choose, the mounting structure.
How is the inverter selected?
The kit builder picks an inverter from the catalog that gives a DC to AC ratio of about 1.0 to 1.3 for your plant size and checks that the string voltage and current fit the inverter. You can also choose the inverter yourself.
Can I order a kit without panels or inverter?
Yes. Untick panels or inverter in the kit builder and the quote will cover only the balance of system items you need.
Is the kit suitable for the PM Surya Ghar scheme?
The kit covers the equipment for a grid-connected rooftop plant. Scheme eligibility depends on using approved (ALMM / DCR) panels where required and on the registered vendor installing it, so mention the scheme in your quote request.
Can I change the quantities?
Yes. Every quantity in the kit table can be edited or removed before you download the PDF or send the WhatsApp request.
