What size of solar system does my home need?
It depends on your monthly units. As a rough guide, a 1 kWp system generates about 4 units a day in Gujarat, so a home using 300 units a month usually needs about 2.5 to 3 kWp.
Is subsidy available for home rooftop solar?
Eligible residential systems can get central financial assistance under the PM Surya Ghar scheme when installed through a registered vendor with approved panels. We guide you through the process.
How much roof space is needed?
About 70 to 100 sq ft of shadow-free roof per kWp, depending on panel size and structure.
How do I clean and maintain my panels?
Clean the panels with plain water and a soft brush every two to four weeks, especially in dusty months. Avoid detergents and high-pressure jets.
